I was never much of a Josh/Donna fan myself, but I have to admit they're pretty cute. (At least before, anyway. I personally don't find the new season spectacularly interesting.)

Characters: Sam, Ainsley (a pairing depending on how you interpret it)

Challenge: #70 - No Josh/Donna


Ainsley’s never seen someone write so intently before.

She watches him from her vantage point on Toby’s couch. They’ve commandeered the office for an afternoon, and he paces back and forth, fingers waving nimbly in the air as he gestures to an imaginary audience.

"Sam," she interrupts awkwardly. "Am I distracting you?"

He stops in the middle of a sentence and frowns bemusedly.

"What?"

She dusts off her skirt and makes for the open door. "You have a speech to write. I should leave."

His laugh pulls her back.

"You’re my muse, Ainsley. What makes you think you’re distracting me?"

I think she quit shortly after Sam was gone in season 4. That's why Josh hired Joe (Matthew Perry)... don't know what episode that was though.

Amy's gone? :( Didn't know that.

I'm pretty sure that Amy left. I haven't seen her since the second-to-last episode of season 5 ("Commencement," I think?) Then again, I haven't really been looking out for her.

I want to be Ainsley when I grow up.

Commencement was the second to last episode in season four, and Amy appeared in that as well as the season four finale. The last episode Amy appeared in was The Constituency of One, the fifth episode of season five. (What can I say? I <3 MLP.)

You've got Ainsley down pretty well. This was great.

Sam is such a nice guy. I love any Sam/____ pairing including Sam/Ainsley.

I've actually never written Ainsley before :) Sam does pretty much go with everyone, but he and Ainsley would have the cutest, smartest children ever.

Oh, I lov ed that!!! I love Sam/Ainsley... I need to read more of those. I just adore Ainsley, who am I kidding. And we all know how I love the Sammybear. That was very them, and oh... what a compliment. She's his MUSE. Wow.

There's not enough Sam/Ainsley out there. I mean, J/S is my OTP, but you can't ignore the S/A dynamic. Perfectly innocent and oh so cute.
